Refunds

RF4 refunds Charms, not cash or crypto. Buyers cannot cash out. This page is the order state machine as implemented.

Deposits

• Crypto sent to a NOWPayments invoice is credited as Charms only when the invoice is finished and the paid amount covers the pack.
• Partial payments are not credited. Send the remainder or the invoice may expire.
• We cannot reverse an on-chain payment. If an invoice expires unpaid, no Charms are created.
• Purchased Charms never expire. Bonus Charms expire after 90 days.

Order statuses

• paid_escrow — Charms moved from your spendable balance into escrow. Seller has not accepted yet.
• in_progress — seller accepted. Delivery clock (SLA: 24h, 48h, 72h, or 7 days) is running.
• delivered — seller submitted the reading or files. You have 72 hours to accept or dispute. If you do neither, the order auto-completes and the seller is paid.
• completed — terminal. Seller share released; platform fee kept. No Charm refund.
• cancelled_buyer — you cancelled before the seller accepted. Full Charm refund from escrow to your wallet.
• cancelled_sla — seller missed the delivery deadline. Cron auto-refunds remaining escrow to you as Charms. You do not need to open a ticket.
• disputed — you opened a case (after messaging the seller, and at least 48 hours later). Escrow stays locked until admin resolves.
• refunded — admin found for the buyer. Escrow returns to you as Charms. Not cash.

What admin can and cannot do

• Can: complete the order for the seller, or refund escrow to the buyer as Charms.
• Cannot (v1): split escrow, pay you crypto, reverse a completed order, or restore expired bonus Charms.
• Cannot: cash out buyer Charms. Seller payouts are a separate flow under Seller terms.

How to start a dispute

Use the order room: send a message first. After 48 hours, open a dispute from that order. Do not use chargebacks on the crypto network as a substitute — those funds already became Charms.
